Evan M. is a software engineer with experience at SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, since February 2017, and previously held a software developer internship. At Western Washington University from September 2015 to December 2016, Evan served as a computer security research assistant, implementing a Windows KMDF class filter driver for webcams. Additionally, Evan worked as an ACM mentor, supporting students in programming languages and tools. As a software consultant intern at MyTaskit, responsibilities included client instruction, needs assessment, and automation of data entry tasks using Python. Earlier experience includes a sales associate position at Staples. Evan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Western Washington University and a high school diploma from Archbishop Murphy High School.
