Shiva Saravanan is a Software Engineer at CME Group since June 2023, having previously completed a Technology Intern role at the same company in summer 2022. With a strong background in software development, Shiva has interned at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, contributing to Angular-based applications for energy efficiency, and has worked as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University on various projects including algorithm development for tweet categorization and web development for educational resources. In addition, Shiva has been a Mathematics Tutor at SpiderSmart Learning Center since June 2018, focusing on improving math skills for elementary to high school students. Shiva holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Princeton University, graduating in 2023.
