Mark van Lankvelt is an experienced professional in the field of ultrasonic rail flaw detection and operations management. Currently serving as the Manager of Field Operations at Sperry Rail Inc. since September 2019, Mark previously held roles including Ultrasonic Rail Flaw Detection at Universal Rail Systems Ltd. and Chief Operator at Sperry Rail Service, where expertise in ultrasonic testing was applied to identify defects in railroad steel. Mark's career also includes experience as an irrigation crew and railcar loader at Koch Fertilizer Canada and teaching elementary science and English in Thailand. Mark's education includes ongoing studies in Ultrasonic Testing at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and the Canadian Institute for Non Destructive Evaluation, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Manitoba.
