Richard Gilbert is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in Family Law and Contentious Trust & Probate Cases. Currently serving as a Partner at Spencer West LLP since November 2020, Richard previously held the position of Senior Associate Solicitor at Debenhams Ottaway from July 2000 to October 2020. Richard's legal career began as a Trainee and Newly Qualified Solicitor at Blackman & Blackman from 1994 to 1997, followed by roles as a Solicitor at Everatts (1997-1999), Selwyn Tash & Co (1999-July 2000), and Turner & Debenhams (2000-2008). Richard's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Liverpool John Moores University and further studies at the College of Law in London. Prior to entering the legal field, Richard worked as an Administrative Assistant at the UK Ministry of Defence from 1992 to July 1994.
