Gaurav Iyer has a strong work experience in the field of technology and operations. Gaurav started their career as a Support Engineer at the University of Wolverhampton in 2006. From there, they moved to Hermes Datacomms where they served as a Service Desk Engineer, Network Support Engineer, and then as an IT Service Manager. In these roles, they implemented ITIL processes, managed technical support, and worked closely with sales and operations. In 2011, Gaurav joined Speedcast as a Global Director - Service Management, where they managed a global team and defined operational plans and business strategies. Gaurav later held various roles including VP Service Management (Global), VP Program Management (APAC), and most recently served as the Vice President, Global Field Operations / Country Director, Singapore. Throughout their career, Gaurav has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a focus on delivering results, and a commitment to driving innovation and success.
Gaurav Iyer has a diverse education background starting with completing their A-Level education in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Maths at Mithibai College from 1997 to 1999. Gaurav then pursued their bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering at the University of Mumbai from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they obtained a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wolverhampton from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Gaurav Iyer has obtained several certifications, including ITIL Expert, ITIL Intermediate certifications in various service areas, PRINCE 2 Foundation and Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001 - Quality Management, and various others specializing in network and software operations.
