Mark FitzGibbon has extensive work experience in various roles. Mark started their career as a Sport Development Officer (Intern) at the Irish Sports Council - Westmeath Sports Partnership in 2013. Mark then worked as a Performance Analyst (National League 1) at Loughborough Students RFC, where they provided analysis to the first team.
In 2015, Mark joined the Athlone Institute of Technology as a Part Time Lecturer for a short period. Later that year, they joined Spectrum Wellness as a Wellness Advisor. In this role, they developed various health and wellness products, built client relationships, and provided consultancy services. Mark also played a key role in product innovation and development.
Mark transitioned to a Senior Account Executive position at Spectrum Wellness in 2019. Here, they managed client relationships, created business opportunities, and implemented strategies to support employee wellbeing. Mark also managed a book of clients across different sectors.
In 2020, Mark became the New Business Team Lead at Spectrum.Life. Mark led the New Business Team in delivering wellbeing services to new clients and oversaw the inbound sales process, outbound prospecting, and new business pitches.
Currently, Mark is working as the Head of Sales (Ireland & Scotland) at Spectrum.Life.
Mark FitzGibbon's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology/Politics from the National University of Ireland, Galway, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Mark then pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of Nottingham, completing their studies in 2011. Later, from 2013 to 2014, they attended Loughborough University, where they obtained a Master's degree in the field of Msc Psychology of Sport & Exercise.
