Janice Black Moore is an experienced professional with a strong background in child and family services. Currently serving as the Division Director at Spectrum Child and Family Services since April 2018, Janice also holds a position as an Adjunct Professor at Siena Heights University since September 2015. Prior experience includes key roles at the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services, where Janice was the CPS Ongoing Services Program Manager and Foster Care Services Program Manager from June 2008 to April 2018, as well as serving as an Interim Foster Care Adoption Program Analyst and Foster Care Specialist between September 2002 and March 2008. Janice began their career as a Resource Coordinator/Team Leader at Southwest Counseling and Development from January 2001 to September 2002. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University, along with attendance at Cass Technical High from 1977 to 1981.
