Anwar Afifi is an accomplished cell culture scientist currently serving as an Associate Scientist II at Spectrix Analytical Services, LLC since April 2022, where work includes consulting for Bristol Myers Squibb. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Laboratory Specialist at Infinity BiologiX from October 2020 to April 2022, focusing on the expansion, quality assurance, and cryopreservation of IPSC cell lines, along with drafting standard operating procedures for multi-department training. Anwar also held the position of Laboratory Technician, responsible for culturing and maintaining the quality of induced pluripotent stem cells. Earlier experience includes an internship at Matheny Medical and Educational Center, where orthotic devices were developed for patients. Anwar holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, earned in 2020.
