Emily Xia is a Software Engineer at Spectator Publishing Company, where full-stack websites are developed for Columbia’s largest student-run company and its associated media brands. As the Devfest Design Lead for ADI, Emily organizes Columbia’s largest annual hackathon. Previous experience includes a Business Intelligence Internship at Tesla, focusing on data management and analytics, and a Game Project Internship at Tencent, which involved collaboration with UI and UX teams on a culturally significant game. Emily also contributed as a Student Volunteer at Mother's Choice, leading multiple projects and receiving recognition for collaborative work. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science at Columbia University, Emily has a solid educational foundation, having also studied at Phillips Academy and attended the Stanford Summer Humanities Institute.
