Kristina Young is a highly experienced professional in the field of neurophysiology, currently serving as the Director of the IONM Training Program at SpecialtyCare since October 2016. In this role, Kristina is responsible for educating and training newly hired Surgical Neurophysiologists, focusing on their clinical development in the operating room and preparation for the CNIM certification. Kristina develops educational materials and learning activities for SpecialtyCare University to enhance the training of Surgical Neurophysiologists throughout their careers. Prior to SpecialtyCare, Kristina held the position of Director of Education and Training at Sentient Medical Systems from March 2010 to October 2016, where management of clinical training staff and education both in classrooms and in the field was essential. Additionally, Kristina served as a Clinical Manager and Certified CNIM Surgical Neurophysiologist during the same period. Earlier experience includes working as a Surgical Neurophysiologist at Biotronic NeuroNetwork from May 2008 to March 2010. Kristina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida State University, earned in 2008.
