Ignacio Sarria, PhD, CNIM, is a seasoned surgical neurophysiologist at SpecialtyCare since November 2016, with extensive experience in neuroscience. Prior to this role, Ignacio Sarria served as a postdoctoral researcher at The Scripps Research Institute, specializing in GPCR signaling and neurological disorders from November 2011 to November 2016. Ignacio Sarria also worked as a graduate research assistant at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where important discoveries regarding pain sensation and neuralgias were made. Academia began with a graduate student researcher position at the University of Florida in neuroscience. Ignacio Sarria holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, a graduate degree in Neuroscience from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from St. Thomas University.
