Michael Tori is a dedicated mathematics educator and curriculum specialist with extensive experience in teaching and developing educational programs. Currently serving as the Math Curriculum Specialist at Specialized Education Services, Inc. since May 2022, Michael oversees curriculum writing that aligns with educational standards, manages a team of teachers, and facilitates monthly meetings to ensure compliance. As the Head of the Math Department and a teacher at Excel Academy South since August 2017, Michael focuses on teaching Algebra II and Precalculus to students aged 16-21 who are behind in their education. Previous roles include group instructor at Youth Engineering and Science, long term substitute teacher at Father Judge High School, and various positions in sales and fitness training. Michael holds a Master of Education in Mathematics from Chestnut Hill College and additional qualifications in math and education from the Community College of Philadelphia.
