Pierce Nunley serves on the Board of Directors at Specialists Hospital Shreveport since January 2012, and has held the position of Chairman at the American Board of Spine Surgery since 2009. As the Owner and Medical Director of Spine Institute of Louisiana since November 2003, Pierce Nunley has significantly contributed to the field of spine surgery. Education includes a Fellowship in Spine Surgery from UT Southwestern Medical Center (1996-1997), as well as degrees from the University of Basel (1996), Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport (1991-1996), and the University of Kansas Medical Center (1986-1991).
