Chris MacDonald is a Senior Software Engineer at SThree since September 2021, previously serving as a Senior Developer at Equator, where Chris led multiple Umbraco website projects and became a certified expert in Umbraco Cloud. Prior experience includes roles as a Backend Developer at D8, developing websites utilizing Umbraco 7 for notable clients such as Douglas Laing and Whyte & Mackay. Chris has also worked as a full-stack developer at Big Data For Humans on the Customer Graph web application, and held positions as a Junior Software Engineer and Graduate Software Engineer at Bridgeall, where Chris honed skills in Microsoft technologies and MVC framework. Chris started a career at Hewlett-Packard as a Graduate Information Analyst and gained initial programming experience during a software engineering internship at Visual Management Systems UK. Chris holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde.
