Biren Gandhi has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1994. Biren began their career as a Research & Development Engineer at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Biren then moved on to become a Software Architect at Fujitsu Network Communications in 1997. In 2006, they became a Sr. Architect at Facebook, Inc. In 2008, they co-founded AdMunity and served as the Cofounder & CTO. Biren then moved on to become the Divisional CTO at Zynga in 2009. In 2011, they joined Cisco as the Head of Drone Business and Distinguished Strategist, as well as the Principal Strategist of the Corporate Strategic Innovation Group. In 2010, they became a Keynote Speaker, Advisory Board Member, Investor, and Mentor at Disruptive Technology Companies. Finally, in 2017, they founded and became the CEO of Speak To IoT.

Biren Gandhi has a diverse educational background. Biren obtained a BS in Computer Science from Gujarat University between 1990 and 1994. Biren then went on to receive an MS in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) between 1995 and 1997. In 2013, they completed an Engineering Leadership Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. In 2015, they earned a Business Foundations certification from The Wharton School. In 2016, they completed a Leading Strategic Initiatives program at IMD Business School. Finally, in 2017, they earned an Executive Data Science certification from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs.
