Makar Lisitsin, PhD, currently serves as the Talent Acquisition Manager at Sparkland, a proprietary trading company specializing in high-frequency trading algorithms. With extensive experience in talent acquisition, Makar has held significant roles at companies such as Semrush, Yandex, and TripleTen, managing teams and improving recruitment processes across multiple countries. Notable achievements include leading teams at Toloka for AI data production, managing e-commerce and EdTech talent sourcing at InterSearch, and successfully attracting high-profile clients during tenure at Antal International. Makar holds a PhD in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the Russian University of Humanities, along with a Bachelor's degree from iaelyon School of Management.
