Samantha Grassle serves as the Director at Elemental Impact since July 2022 and holds the position of Senior Portfolio Innovation Manager at SparkCharge, beginning December 2023. Grassle also contributes as a Board Observer for both NÜWIEL GmbH (March 2023 - March 2024) and CIV:LAB (January 2023 - Present). Previously, Grassle held the role of Director of Market Development at Superpedestrian (May 2021 - May 2022), served as an Advisor for Community Tech NY (September 2020 - September 2021), and worked as Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager at Urbint (January 2021 - May 2021). At Uber (April 2019 - June 2020), Grassle was a Senior Program Manager for Market Entry - JUMP, and from August 2015 to March 2019, Grassle functioned as Senior Manager in the Mayor's Office of the Chief Technology Officer for the City of New York. Earlier experiences include serving as a Tech & Innovation Policy Advisor in the Mayor's Office of Tech & Innovation and as a Research Fellow at The Governance Lab. Grassle holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University's SIPA and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications Studies from the University of Michigan.
