Xin Huang, Ph. D., is an accomplished computational biologist currently serving as Lead Computational Biologist at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. since December 2021. In this role, Xin Huang leads next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis in collaboration with various teams to enhance AAV gene therapy. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Data Scientist in the Gene Therapy Program at the University of Pennsylvania and Senior Bioinformatician at the National Human Genome Research Institute, where Xin Huang contributed to significant research in bioinformatics and microbiome analysis. Xin Huang holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from China Agricultural University.
