Roel Peeters is the Founder and CEO of Roost, a technology company based in Sunnyvale, CA, specializing in connected platforms for the smart home market since June 2014. In addition to leading Roost, Peeters serves on the Advisory Board of SPARK Microsystems since March 2018 and has a strong background in strategic marketing and business development, having held the position of Director, Strategic Marketing at Atmel Corporation from January 2013 to June 2014 and serving as Founding CEO and VP Marketing & Business Development at Ozmo Devices from December 2004 to December 2012. Peeters also has experience in marketing and sales roles at companies such as Actuate, InQuira, Electric Knowledge, and ICOS Vision Systems. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and an MS in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven, complemented by an Executive Program at Singularity University.
