René Hovmand Mikkelsen is a highly experienced digital marketing professional, currently serving as Digital Marketing Manager at Sparinvest, a division of Nykredit, since October 2019. Mikkelsen has been with Sparinvest/Sparindex since November 2014, specializing in brand building, digital marketing, and communication strategies, along with expertise in web design and graphic design. Prior to this, Mikkelsen held multiple roles at Sparinvest since July 2005, including Head of Marketing & Communications and Marketing Manager, leading various branding and marketing initiatives. Mikkelsen began a career in marketing as an Assistant at Deltek (formerly Maconomy) in 2004. Educational background includes a Cand.Merc. in Design & Communication Management from Copenhagen Business School and a HA in International Marketing from Handelshøjskolen i Nykøbing Falster.
