Kristian Tafjord is a distinguished economist currently serving as Chief Economist at Sparebanken Møre since March 2023 and holds a Board Member position at Møre Boligkreditt AS. Previously, Kristian worked as Head of Investments and Partner at Converto AS from January 2019 to March 2023, and also served as Chairman at Rekna AS / Flytsona AS from March 2021 to September 2022. Kristian’s early career includes roles as FX trader/analyst and Economist at Norges Bank between June 2013 and December 2018, along with experience as a Teaching Assistant in Microeconomics at the University of Oslo. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Economic Theory and Econometrics from the University of Oslo and a certification as a Fixed Income Analyst from The Norwegian Society of Financial Analysts.
