Charlie Taft, CPA, MBA, currently serves as Vice President of Finance at Conn-Selmer, Inc., overseeing the finance department and reporting directly to the CEO. Previously, Charlie held multiple finance-focused roles at Duke Energy Corporation, including Director of Finance, where responsibility encompassed financial management for a unit generating approximately $500 million in annual EBIT. Other positions at Duke Energy included oversight of the Duke Energy Foundation's financial operations and investor relations management. Charlie began the career in audit services at Duke Energy after working as an Experienced Associate at Arthur Andersen. Charlie holds an MBA in Finance from UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business and a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington. Additionally, Charlie contributed as a Board Member and Treasurer for the Socrates Academy Foundation.
