Alba de Haro Hernando is a predoctoral researcher at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) since December 2022, focusing on the structural characterization of DNA-binding proteins. Previously, Alba worked as an R+D technician at Distribuciones BiocientÃficas S.L. and as a master's thesis researcher at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where research concentrated on tolerance mechanisms to heavy metals in plants. Earlier experiences include serving as an undergraduate research fellow at CNIO, conducting a bachelor thesis project under the supervision of Rafael Fernández Leiro, PhD, and participating in an Erasmus+ summer internship at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, UCPH, studying immune molecules in inflammatory bowel diseases. Alba holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
