Agustín Sánchez Belmonte is a bioinformatician currently working at Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) since January 2023, focusing on the Cancer Cell Cycle Group. Simultaneously, Agustín engages in machine learning and bioinformatic tasks at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) within the Cell Division and Cancer Group, under the leadership of Dr. Marcos Malumbres. Prior experience includes a Board Member position at AsBioMad from January 2021 to January 2022, involvement in a bioinformatician internship at CNIO, and a research internship at Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe (CIPF). Agustín holds a master's degree in Computational Biology from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and bachelor's degrees in Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Padova and Universitat Politècnica de València.
