Sofian Hnaide is an experienced software engineer with a demonstrated history in high-profile tech companies. Currently at SpaceX since October 2024, Sofian previously held the position of Staff Software Engineer at Anyscale and served as Principal Software Architect at Microsoft, where the focus was on memory optimization and performance enhancements for long-lived JavaScript applications. Prior experience also includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at SpaceX and a Senior Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, contributing to the Visual Studio Code project and the C# compiler team. Sofian began a professional journey as a Web Developer at Concordia University's Libraries, customizing open-source applications, and previously worked with CT Consultants on a thesis related to the context in software systems. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Engineering with a focus on Software Engineering from Damascus University.
