Emily Liang is a highly motivated and skilled software engineer currently interning at SpaceX, having previously contributed as a software engineering intern for UCLA's ELFIN CubeSat. Emily’s experience encompasses leadership roles such as CS & Systems Lead for X1 Robotics at ASME and managing electronics for a rocket project at UCLA, showcasing a strong capability in software development, systems management, and robotics. Additional internships at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory involved critical systems engineering tasks, including requirements management and risk analysis for the Mars Sample Return mission. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from UCLA and has a background in data analysis from UC San Diego, where participation in a research project led to a published abstract presentation.
