Ronan Finnegan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2013, they founded their first app named WAKEorDONATE, which was an alarm clock application that encouraged users to donate to their chosen charities if they failed to get out of bed in the morning. Ronan later sold the app to a private buyer in December 2016. In 2014, they founded GYMorDONATE, a company focused on changing the format of charitable giving through mobile applications. GYMorDONATE was sold to a private buyer in May 2020. Ronan also has experience as a co-founder of spacebands, a global market leader in workplace safety wearable technology. Ronan has been involved in various entrepreneurial ventures including Submerge Wallets, which offers waterproof wearable wallets and cardholders. Additionally, Ronan worked as a digital nomad and outsourced marketing manager for clients worldwide through their agency, Search and Social Marketing. Ronan also had a brief stint as a TV/film extra, appearing in popular shows and movies such as The Crown, Sex Education, and Wonder Woman 2.

Ronan Finnegan attended St Gregory's Catholic College from 2006 to 2011, followed by Beechen Cliff School from 2011 to 2013. However, no specific degrees or fields of study were mentioned for either educational institution.
