Denis Kogan is an experienced educator and administrator, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Touro University and as an Assistant Principal within the NYC Department of Education since February 2007. Kogan has held various positions including District 75 Science Coach and Computer Science Lead, contributing significantly to instructional support and coaching in science and computer science for special education. Kogan is also involved with the National Science Teaching Association as Chairperson of the Special Needs Advisory Board and serves as a Common Sense Media Ambassador. Kogan's educational background includes multiple advanced degrees in biology education and educational leadership from institutions such as Brooklyn College and The College of Saint Rose. Additionally, Kogan founded The Five Borough Disaster Relief Fund and has experience as a Master Science Teacher and in providing disaster relief initiatives in New York City.
