Louis Carranza is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of CERAWeek at S&P Global since January 2023. Prior roles include Associate Director at the MIT Energy Initiative from January 2013 to January 2024, Senior Advisor for Climate CoLab at the MIT Center for Collective Intelligence, and Vice President of Strategic Development at IHS, where key contributions included serving as Executive Director and Co-Chair of CERAWeek. Louis Carranza holds an AB in English and American Literature from Brown University, earned between 1985 and 1990.
