Russell Bjorkman is a long-time venture partner at Sovereign's Capital with US and global real estate investing experience. Russell has also launched Lighthouse (www.lighthouseinvesting.com), which focuses on faith-driven real estate opportunities internationally. Bjorkman is based in Los Angeles and has formerly lived and worked in London, Hong Kong, and Northern Ireland.
Bjorkman's career in real estate investing began when they were self-employed as an investor and attorney for 10 years and 6 months. Russell then became the chairman of Prison Bars Inc for 3 years and 1 month before joining Sovereign's Capital. At Sovereign's Capital, Bjorkman seeks out investable tech ideas and advises on complicated legal and business matters relating to international issues, structuring best practices, and IP diligence. Russell also manages several fund investments, including in the fintech and sportstech space. In addition, Bjorkman founded the Believers in Tech group in southern California for faith-led founders, investors, and those generally working in the tech space to connect.
Russell Bjorkman has a JD and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania / Wharton and a BS and BA from the University of Southern California. Russell is a facilitator of the Faith Driven Entrepreneur Foundation Group.
