Alex Edwards has been working in the wire rope and rigging industry for many years. In 1986, they founded Paducah Rigging, where they serve as the Owner, President, and CEO. The company initially focused on making barge wires out of used wire rope for local towboat companies. Over the years, Paducah Rigging has expanded its services and now fabricates various rigging products and accessories for the maritime industry. In 2021, Alex became the Chief Executive Officer for both Southwest Wire Rope and Paducah Rigging.
Alex Edwards attended Emory University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree. Alex studied Business Administration and Political Science, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in both fields. After completing their undergraduate education, Alex Edwards went on to pursue further studies at the University of Kentucky from 1994 to 1997. During this period, they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, although the specific field of study is not provided.
