Melvin Biri has extensive experience in the engineering and manufacturing sectors, currently serving as the Manager of Avionics Manufacturing at Southwest Research Institute since 2009, following a role as Senior Research Engineer. Prior to that, Melvin Biri held various positions at Sony Semiconductor of America from 1990 to 2005, including Process and Equipment Engineering Manager and Staff Engineer. Earlier experience includes a Process Engineer role at Advanced Micro Devices from 1984 to 1990. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Management of Technology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from St. Mary's University.
