Evelyn Gutierrez, MSN, RN, currently serves as the Administrative Director of Emergency Services at Texas Vista Medical Center since February 2022. Previously, Evelyn held multiple leadership roles at Methodist Healthcare System from August 2014 to February 2022, including Administrative Director of Clinical Operations for Emergency Services and Director of Emergency Services. At Nix Health Care System, Evelyn was instrumental in establishing the first emergency department and developing the Trauma Program and Heart Alert Process. Additionally, Evelyn worked at CHRISTUS Health as a Trauma Coordinator and Registered Nurse, where improvements were made to the Trauma Program, enhancing the hospital's trauma designation levels. Evelyn has also served as Trauma Program Manager at Baptist Health System in 2012. Evelyn holds a Master of Science in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from both the University of the Incarnate Word and the University of Northern Philippines.
