Shannon Feinman is currently the Director at Southside Virginia Community College. Shannon has held this position since July of 2005. Prior to that, they were the Distance Learning Site Director at Old Dominion University from August of 2000 until July of 2005. Shannon Feinman has also worked as the Financial Manager at Governor's School of Southside Virginia from June of 1993 until July of 2000. Her very first job was as a Public Affairs and Information Intern at James Madison University's Health Communication Institute from September of 1992 until May of 1993. Lastly, Shannon Feinman was a Research Assistant at Hampden-Sydney College from June of 1988 until August of 1992.

Shannon Feinman completed their undergraduate degree at James Madison University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Communication. Shannon then went on to complete a post-graduate certificate in Public Management at Old Dominion University, followed by a Master of Business Administration from the same school.
