Dana Claburn is a seasoned executive in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Senior Production Officer at Southern Power since March 2013. With leadership over a generation fleet exceeding 12,000 MW of diverse energy assets across 11 states, Dana has played a pivotal role in guiding the company towards significant growth, encompassing over $9 billion in total assets. Previous roles include Director of Operations Human Resources and General Manager of E&CS Design at Southern Company, as well as various managerial positions at Southern Power, beginning in 2001. Dana's academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama, an MBA from Samford University, and executive education at both Harvard Business School and INSEAD in 2017.
