Elise Wetherell-Krueger

Adjunct Professor For Sustainability And General Education at Southern New Hampshire University

Elise Wetherell-Krueger is an experienced professional in the fields of education, environmental science, and guest engagement. Currently serving as a Curriculum Developer and Science Subject Matter Expert at Science LEAF since July 2023, Elise also holds the position of Guest Ambassador Coordinator at the Chicago Academy of Sciences/Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, a role undertaken since October 2021. Previous roles include Conservation & Experiential Programming Facilitator at the Forest Preserves of Cook County, Guest Engagement Fellow at Lincoln Park Zoo, and various positions at Peace Coffee and Taylor University. Elise's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from Bethel University and a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Development from Taylor University, complemented by international study in New Zealand focused on ecology and sustainable development.
