Al Lucas is an experienced optometrist currently employed at Southern Eye Physicians' Center, LLC since April 2019 and the Eye and Laser Center of Starkville since February 2012, where Al works alongside Dr. James Brown. Prior to these roles, Al was the owner of Lucas Eyewear from June 2006 to April 2012, focusing on the importation and distribution of fashionable reading glasses to various retail outlets. Al also owned and practiced at Lucas Family Optometry from 1999 to 2005. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from Southern College of Optometry earned between 1988 and 1992, and a degree in Biology from the University of Mississippi completed in 1988.
