Tiara Samples is an experienced Instrumentation and Control Senior Engineer at Southern Company, serving since June 2015. In this role, Tiara Samples has directed the instrumentation and control design for key projects, including the Southern Power Paw Paw Solar HMI project and the Plant Miller Waste Water Management Project. Previously, Tiara Samples held positions as an Instrumentation and Control Design Engineer II and III, leading technical efforts for the Southern Power Spectrum Solar Plant HMI operation and managing various aspects of DCS design for the Plant Daniel Ash Handling Project. Tiara Samples began a career in engineering as an Electrical Engineer Intern at Newcomb & Boyd, where valuable knowledge of electrical distribution and lighting systems was gained. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Applied Engineering with a concentration in Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from Georgia Southern University.
