Nkateko Okwera is an accomplished technology strategist currently serving as the Head of the Strategy Realization Office and IT Program Manager at Southern Company since September 2022. Okwera previously held the position of Enterprise Technology Strategy Analyst, where responsibilities included developing enterprise technology strategies and frameworks for strategy realization. Prior to Southern Company, Okwera was a Technology Strategy Consultant and Managing Partner at CapeNexis, advising on operational solutions and streamlining processes for large organizations. Okwera also served as Managing Director at Evidence Based Solutions, focusing on custom technology for public health initiatives, and held various roles in web development and project management across several companies, including ICF International and Danya International. Education includes a BSc in Biology from Kennesaw State University and earlier studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and Zonnebloem.
