Sebastián Matías C. has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple companies. Starting in 2017, they began their career at Wetcom as a Trainee IT support. Sebastián Matías then progressed to become a Jr Integrations Developer, where they were responsible for designing, executing, documenting, and automating IT operations. In this role, they successfully optimized and automated operations, reducing daily work hours from 50 to 10.

In 2019, Sebastián moved up to the position of Ssr Cloud & Automation Engineer at Wetcom. During this time, they focused on cloud and automation engineering, further enhancing their skills in these areas.

In 2020, Sebastián joined Globant as an Ssr DevOps Engineer for Disney DTCI. Sebastián Matías was responsible for on-boarding, maintaining, and extending Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International's Business Apps CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitLab CI. Additionally, they tracked tickets and solved technical problems for their pod teammates. Sebastián continued with Globant and took on the role of Technical Lead for Disney DTCI, where they continued to contribute to the CI/CD pipelines and provide technical guidance.

After their time at Globant, Sebastián joined EY in 2021 as a DevOps Engineer Senior Associate. In this role, they worked on various DevOps projects and contributed to the organization's overall development and operations processes.

In 2022, Sebastián joined Southern Code as a Sr DevOps Engineer, where they specialized in DevOps practices and was involved in various engineering projects. Sebastián Matías left Southern Code in mid-2023.

Finally, in 2023, Sebastián joined Intelygenz as a Platform Engineer, where they currently work.

From 2019 to 2021, Sebastián attended Instituto de Tecnología ORT. During this time, they obtained an Associate degree in Systems Analysis with a focus on Computer Science.

In 2017 and 2018, Sebastián studied at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, where they earned an Engineer's degree in Computer Science.

From 2010 to 2016, Sebastián attended Pio IX High School and obtained a Technician degree in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician.

In addition to their formal education, Sebastián has also acquired various certifications. In January 2022, they became a Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert through Microsoft. In October 2021, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification, and in September 2021, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification. In February 2020, Sebastián became a VMware Certified Professional - Cloud Management and Automation 2020 through VMware. Sebastián Matías also received the MCSA 70-740 certification from Buffa Sistemas in March 2018 and the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2021.
