Kenyetta Sewell

Kenyetta Sewell has extensive experience in human resources, with roles in various organizations. Most recently, they served as the Human Resources Director at the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority East, where they were responsible for overseeing recruitment, compensation, training, and policy dissemination. Prior to that, they held the same position at the Louisiana Schools for the Deaf and Visually Impaired. Kenyetta also served as the Vice President of Human Resources at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation, where they managed various HR activities and consulted with management on HR needs. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Deputy Undersecretary at the LA State Civil Service and as a Fiscal Analyst at the LA Legislative Fiscal Office.

Kenyetta Sewell holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge. Their education has focused on research and project management. In addition, they have obtained a certification in SHRM - CP from SHRM in August 2016.
