Ian Bell is an experienced mining and infrastructure professional with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as an Independent Consultant since 2017, Ian Bell is focused on early contractor involvement for underground project pre-feasibility studies. Previously, as a Program Manager at South32 and Manager of Expansion Projects at Rio Tinto, Ian Bell has led various expansion studies across mining, rail, and infrastructure projects. Other key positions include Mining Lead, Resource Development Manager, and Study Lead, highlighting expertise in mining systems, resource development, and technical services. Prior experience includes leading production mining at Argyle Diamonds and serving as Principal Mining Engineer at CRA Limited, where underground mine design and processing studies were central to the role.
