Wendy Felton is currently the Treasurer at South St. Paul Public Schools. Prior to their current position, Wendy was the Program Manager II at Clark Atlanta University from September 2006 to October 2013. Wendy was responsible for the Coweta School system, Newnan High School, Smokey Road Middle School and O.P. Evans Middle School.
Duties included conducting mentoring sessions for at-risk youth, implementing social work components of the Educational Talent Search program, managing a case load of approximately 300 students in grades six through twelve, coordinating a program that empowers parents and student through the college access process, implementing and developing programs that include seminars, parent programs and workshops, planning field trips to expose students to additional opportunities, organizing fund raisers and plan senior banquets to honor students, assisting students with all facets of the college access process, ensuring federal guidelines regarding program participants are in compliance, establishing alliances with corporations and organizations to implement summer enrichment programs, motivational speaker and facilitator of college access seminars.
Wendy Felton is currently a candidate for a Master of Science in Social Work at Clark Atlanta University. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Tuskegee University.
