Dr. Travis L. Teague currently serves as the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Chief Academic Officer at South Piedmont Community College, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this role, Dr. Teague has been with Wingate University since 2012, where responsibilities have included Vice Provost of Academic Affairs, Vice Provost and Dean of the College of Professional Studies, and Dean and Professor of the School of Sport Sciences. Dr. Teague's earlier experience includes serving as Program Coordinator for Motorsport Management at Winston-Salem State University from August 2006 to May 2012. Dr. Teague's educational background includes study at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a degree from Middle Tennessee State University.
