Sophia Deng is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and operations across various industries. Currently a community member at South Park Commons since 2023, Sophia previously served as Group Product Manager at Remote from 2021 to 2023, leading the development of payroll software and infrastructure products. At Ramp, from January to October 2020, Sophia was Head of Business Operations, playing a pivotal role in launching and scaling the company’s corporate card services. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2020, Sophia held the position of Director of Operations & Product at Gigster, overseeing the full lifecycle of the freelance platform. Earlier in the career, Sophia was a Product Manager at Instacart (2015-2017), contributing to numerous enhancements in logistics, and began the professional journey as an M&A Investment Banking Analyst at Citi (2014-2015). Sophia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Princeton University and a specialized education in the Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science Magnet Program at Montgomery Blair High School.
