David Ivers is the current Trustee at South Coast Repertory. David has had a long and varied career in the theatre, starting out as the General Manager of the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival in 1992. David then moved on to become the Public Relations Manager of the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in 1996, before taking on the role of Media Relations Director at Yale School of Drama/Yale Repertory Theatre in 1997. In 2001, they became Marketing Director at Studio Arena Theatre, a position they held until 2006.

David Ivers received a BA in Creative & Performing Arts, Journalism from Grand View University, and an AA in Liberal Arts from Southwestern Community College. David also has an MFA in Theatre Management & Promotion from Wayne State University.
