Laurence "Buff" Brown is an experienced professional with a diverse background in air quality, transportation planning, and engineering. Currently serving as an Air Quality Specialist at South Coast Air Quality Management District since March 2020, Laurence supports California's regulatory efforts to reduce transportation-related pollutants. Previous roles include Senior Transit and Transportation Planner for the City of Redmond, Senior Transportation Planner for the City of Tigard, and MPO Director at CAMPO, where Laurence was integral to transportation planning and federal fund distribution. Earlier career positions include Senior Travel Demand Modeler at the Indiana Department of Transportation and Air Quality Planner at the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, focusing on emissions standards and planning documents.
