Alixandra Vila is a seasoned political affairs officer currently working with the House of Representatives in the Philippines, focusing on policy and legislation for sectoral programs since August 2016. In addition to this role, Alixandra contributes as a writer for the South China Morning Post and Radar-list, where story ideas are pitched to editors. With extensive editing experience at REX Book Store, Inc., as well as previous roles including journalist at Philstar.com and content writer at Natureworld News, Alixandra has demonstrated a strong proficiency in communication and storytelling. Alixandra holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology from the University of the Philippines.
