Ben Kolb has extensive experience in network engineering and IT support, currently serving as a Network Engineer and Network Specialist at South Central Regional Information Center (SCRIC) since April 2015. At SCRIC, Ben has successfully rebuilt and automated aspects of the main datacenter VMware and storage clusters, ensured 24/7 uptime through maintenance of critical systems, and managed virtualization and storage for twenty-three remote sites. Previous experience includes work as a System Engineer at SharpTech Solutions LLC, where Ben supported and configured various Windows Server environments and managed network infrastructure for small to medium businesses. Early in Ben's career, a role as a Personal Computer Repair Technician involved building and upgrading PCs and troubleshooting various Windows operating systems. Ben holds A+ Certification and CCNA training from Broome Delaware Tioga BOCES.
