Michelle Hawkins has extensive experience in tax law and litigation, currently serving as a Senior Specialist in Tax Court Litigation at the South African Revenue Service (SARS) since June 2014. Prior to this role, Michelle Hawkins held positions as a Tax Court Specialist at SARS and as an Attorney At Law at both Michelle Hawkins Attorneys and Daphne Pick Attorneys. From June 2004 to August 2008, Michelle Hawkins worked as an Employee Relations Manager at BHP. Academically, Michelle Hawkins earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in Tax Law/Taxation from the University of Pretoria in 2017, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of South Africa in 1999, and a B.Proc. in Law from the University of South Africa in 1997.
